A single plot of farmland worked by an unskilled laborer produces 5 kg of food per week. Up to four plots can be worked by a single peasant to produce 20 kg of food. A permanent magical upgrade to a farm plot adds +50% output, and a seasonal (one year) magical upgrade adds another +50%. With one upgrade, a plot can produce 7.5 kg of food per week, and with both 10 kg per week. Additionally, a farmer (skilled worker) working a plot doubles any of the above output (e.g. 10 kg per week per plot for a base farm plot, or 15 to 20 kg per week per plot for upgraded plots).
Finally, workers (skilled or unskilled) can be equipped with magical tools to double the amount of plots they can work single-handedly. Fully upgraded, this allows a farmer to work 8 plots producing 20 kg of food per week, for a total of 160 kg of food per week. This is enough to feed 10 adults including himself.
