Open Source Gaming Initiative

The OSGI is a non-profit business that buys older PC games (with preference towards ones that can be played online) from companies that don't support them anymore, dedicates server space and bandwidth to them, and re-releases them under a copyleft license (probably GPLv3). Anyone wishing to contribute to porting them to new operating systems, or upgrade their graphics engines, or anything else, can do so through the game's project.
